1. Oil Cleansers

The first step in the Korean skincare routine is to use an oil-based cleanser. Most of us use makeup removers or makeup wipes to clean the makeup or dirt off our faces. But we ignore the makeup remover we use. Koreans especially stress on using oil-based cleansers or makeup removers to clean your face. According to them, it is best to remove not just makeup but also the oil-based impurities like sebum. Even if you do not use makeup, it is still very good for removing dirt and pollutants from your face, something a normal face wash cannot do.

2. Water-based cleanser

The next step is to use a foaming face wash or cleanser. Korean beauty experts recommend double cleansing, as just onetime cleaning is not enough to clean your face properly. Using a water-based cleanser or foaming wash would be useful to remove further impurities from your face. A water-based cleanser also helps dissolve water-based impurities like sweat and dirt. This double cleansing technique also prevents you from having breakouts on your face.

3. Exfoliator

Exfoliation is necessary to have a glowing skin. If you cannot do it regularly because your skin is sensitive or you feel lazy, make sure you do it at least twice every week.
